Howard-Suamico Sidewalk Sale

The 2008 Howard-Suamico Sidewalk Sale will take place on Thursday, August 7th. Area businesses are encouraged to do something special on that day to promote shopping our HSBPA member businesses FIRST! Ads for the annual Howard-Suamico Sidewalk Sale will appear in the Monday, August 4th Community
Bulletin. Our August publication will not only cover all of regular Howard-Suamico routes with a circulation of 12,841 BUT also adding up to an ADDITIONAL 10,000 COPIES mailed to routes north and west of our area.

This will be the FIRST time that we have ever mailed The Community Bulletin to some of these areas! Ads that pertain solely for the Sidewalk Sale will be grouped together in a special section within August 4th Community Bulletin.

We will also be promoting a contest on Sidewalk Sale day in which shoppers could win a door prize at each of the participating businesses! All you have to do is donate a prize that you would like to give away (recommended minimum retail value $35) and put up an entry box that day. Individual entry blanks will be
printed in the August 4th Community Bulletin specific for your business listing the prize available that your business is offering. Winners are to be drawn at the end of business on Thursday, August 7th. (Each business will notify their winner and award the prize.) The placement of entry blanks, printed in the paper, will be at NO
COST to any businesses advertising in the Sidewalk Sale issue! We are planning print a list of winners in the September Community Bulletin. All ads for the August issue of the Community Bulletin that require typesetting must be in by July 23rd. Ads ready to print received over the internet must be in no later that July 25th. (With special arrangements made in advance, we can receive an ad over the internet as late as Monday, July 28th).
